Jessie
Christina’s one-act play about a teenage girl from a broken home who falls in
love with the leader of a gang of thieves won the Young Playwrights of Connecticut
Festival in 1991. After working with Fairfield High drama teacher Fran Kondziela and
a group of talented actors to stage the play at the Westport Arts Center, Christina
took home the Best Director award.
Dai
Yale University drama students did a reading of Christina's three-act play, Dai, in
1994. The play, which could easily adapt to the screen, is a farce
about an Italian daughter and her gay boyfriend.
